Create Your SOP

Leadership teams create their Strategic Operating Platform through a series of carefully designed, expertly facilitated meetings, each structured to build upon the previous one.

  • The Preview Meeting: your leadership team introduction to the SOP process.
  • 1st Gear - Get Started: In this first working session, your leadership team receives the tools and training to clarify who’s responsible for what, to set priorities, and to track critical numbers.  The focus is THE WORK and improving execution immediately.
  • 2nd Gear - Gain Traction: we complete and review your Assessment results and then practice the Team ONE Meeting.  The focus is THE TEAM, increasing trust and strengthening healthy dynamics.
  • 3rd Gear - Accelerate: you will establish your vision and strategy, establish your sales targets, and identify how they will be achieved.  The focus is THE BIG PICTURE.
  • 4th Gear - Cruising: you will optimize your key business processes and align the functions to create real synergy.  The focus is ALIGNMENT among all facets of your business.
  • Progress Review. On a quarterly basis, the team will continue to invest in team and leadership skill development. It will evaluate its performance, establish OKRs for the next 90 days, and resolve pressing issues.
  • Annual Offsite. Each year, the team will invest two days to conduct an after-action review, revisit its direction, establish targets for the coming year, and work on team health.

  • What are the benefits of the SOP vs. other systems?

    Our SOP process follows a proven pathway to address the strategic, structural, and human components that are needed for next-level growth.


    Unlike other systems, we customize the content and materials to focus where your needs are greatest.  No wasted time.

  • How much time will we need to invest?

    Four days within a three month window to fully implement the SOP system, followed by one day each quarter to maintain progress.

  • Can we customize the number of days?

    Absolutely.


    You are always in control of your team's experience.  We will always work within your time and budget constraints.


    However, understand that  all of the SOP components work together and this  process is iterative (that is, each training builds on the previous training).  If your time and budget needs so dictate a smaller commitment of time, we will work with you to design the best alternative experience for your team.

  • Can we do the workshops over ZOOM?

    Some of the work (the DiSC personality training or the Organizational Scorecard review) can be effectively accomplished through Zoom, and we will use electronic means whenever possible to reduce your need for travel.


    That said, this is DEEP work - most discussions demand that you all be in the same room together and that our facilitators be in that room with you.

  • How long before we see results?

    After the very first meeting, and immediately after each subsequent meeting.  We are delivering VALUE from the very start: I guarantee that you and your leadership team will be smarter, more educated about what you need to manage and how to effectively do that, even after the 90-Minute Preview Meeting and even if we do no work with you past that.
